Good day Anon!

I will answer this because my husband is getting emotional. I would have to say, If the twins ever did ask us why they don’t have a mother, we will tell them the truth.- that they are adopted- but it doesn’t make us any less their parents. That is just silly!  And I think that Al & Mattie are born with kind and understanding hearts, far more mature for their age. 

They would understand that even though they did not come from us, we love them and hopefully, they love us too. Whatever happens, whatever their decisions might be in life we will support them and be there for them as what parents will do.

Good day to you Ms. newstarr411,

I guess the hardest for me is when they get sick. If one starts getting sick, sooner or later his twin will catch it. It breaks our hearts when they cry and we can’t do anything to comfort them except to hold them close after giving them their medicine. Frankly, I’d rather have them being naughty around the house than sick in bed.
